Above The Clouds: Kobe & Gianna Bryant

This mural was my second tribute to Kobe and Gianna Bryant, created as a commissioned piece following the impact of my first memorial. Set against a white background and surrounded by clouds, the scene shows Gianna leading the way with a basketball in hand, and Kobe walking just behind her—a quiet, powerful symbol of guidance, legacy, and eternal connection. I wanted this piece to feel like a moment suspended between worlds. Not a goodbye, but a continuation—soft, peaceful, and full of love. It was about honoring their bond, their shared passion, and the light they continue to shine beyond the physical. This mural became a space for stillness and remembrance, and to this day, it remains one of the most emotionally resonant works I’ve had the honor of painting.
